This copper/quat algaecide formula eliminates the toughest black algae. Its patented triple-chelation process holds copper ingredients active in solution for longer algae control. Swimming can commence immediately after treatment. Wipes out black algae. Penetrates even deeply rooted black algae colonies. Concentrated formula. The outer layers of black algae produce a waxy coat that prevents chlorine and other algaecides from killing it. Specially formulated to penetrate this waxy coat and treat even the most deeply rooted black algae. To treat an existing condition, use according to the label instructions and brush algae daily. Also, check the pool circulation as black algae usually grows in areas with poor water circulation. Compatible with chlorine, bromine, mineral purification systems, salt water pools and ozone sanitizers. Applications to treat existing black algae is brush algae spots prior to application. If pool is very dirty with heavy algae growth, first vacuum, clean and scrub walls. Add 12-ounce per 10,000 gallons to a pail of water and distribute along perimeter of the pool. Also, add 6-8-ounce per 10,000 gallons weekly. Product contain 32-ounce per bottle. Includes 12 pieces per pack.
