Ventopedic Heel & Ankle Protector(Size=Medium-Large)

The Ventopedic Heel and Ankle Protector has circular openings on each side of the boot and the heel that make visualization of the heel and the ankle easier. Under the calf area are extra layers of Ventopedic fabric to effectively offload the heel, allowing it to be suspended and protected. This heel positioning boot is made of latex free Ventopedic fabric. This moisture control fabric includes both hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers that attract and expel skin moisture four times faster than regular fabric. The fabric allows air flow which will keep the skin at a regulated temperature and will eliminate the likelihood of skin breakdown and/or the formation of pressure ulcers. This fabric eliminates odors generally caused by excess moisture. The inner lining is soft against the skin and reduces the possibility of shearing and friction. The boot has a soft and breathable nylon exterior that slides smoothly over bed sheets. The boot can be used on left or right foot, and can be machine washed and dried. The Ventopedic Heel and Ankle Protector is available in two sizes: Small/Medium fits calf circumference 8 to 15 inches, up to a size 6 in women's and men's shoe sizes. Medium/Large fits calf circumference 16 inches and larger, up to 9 in women's and men's shoe sizes.
